August 24, 2016: The Cardinals stayed out on the road to face the Braves in the next series.  The Braves scored first with a run in the first inning.  The Redbirds took the lead with two runs in the fourth and pitching held the Braves out of the game from the second through fifth innings.  The Braves plated two in the sixth and another in the seventh before rain ended the contest in the eighth.  Elehuris Montero singled and drove in one run.

August 25, 2016: The Cardinals were scheduled to host the Braves in the second game but was cancelled due to rain.

The Rockies took the lead with two runs in the sixth and the Cardinals came back with three in the bottom half.  The Redbirds expanded the lead with four in the eighth and the Rockies attempted a comeback scoring two in the ninth.  Cristhian Lugo struck out all three batters faced in the seventh for the hold.  Esequeil Delgado hit a grand slam in the eighth.

August 27, 2016: The Cardinals visited the Rockies in the final game of the season.  The Rockies scored one run in the first inning and pitching kept the Redbirds bats out of the game for the first five innings.  The Cardinals tied it up in the sixth and both team's pitching staffs held each other off until the 11th inning.  The Rockies pulled it off with a run in the 11th inning.  Winston Nicacio struck out six over five scoreless relief innings.  Diomedes Del Rio singled, doubled, and drove in one run.
