John Rodriguez Named 2013 American Association Postseason All-Star

Designated Hitter- John Rodriguez (Wichita)- Rodriguez has been thumping for the heart of Wichita’s order all season. The left-handed hitter finds himself in the top-five in the American Association for batting average (.354), home runs (19) and RBI (85). In all cases, he trails a Wingnuts teammate for the number one spot. Rodriguez has the second-most RBI, fourth-best average and is tied for fourth in homers.

John Rodriguez, Wichita Power To Victory

With his 18th and 19th home runs of the season, John Rodriguez (pictured) powered the Wingnuts to a 10-2 victory over Lincoln. Rodriguez hit a solo homer in the seventh inning, then capped a six-run Wichita eighth inning with a three-run shot. The designated hitter finished 3-for-5 with four RBI.

John Rodriguez Powers Wichita To 4-1 Win Over Rockland

The Wichita Wingnuts bested the Rockland Boulders behind a strong effort from DH John Rodriguez. Rodriguez went 3-for-4 with two RBI. He also scored a run in the top of the seventh inning after reaching on a walk and scoring from first on a double form 1B C.J. Ziegler.
