Easter always takes me back to 1987. The Cardinals and the Mets were the best rivalry in baseball then, and early in the year, in the fourth series of the year, the Mets made their way to STL for the Easter weekend. It was a cool Saturday night, and Busch Stadium was packed for seat cushion night. The Cardinals had won the NL East in 1985 in a tense battle with the Mets, and New York and run away and hid in their championship season of 1986.

At Fantasy Camp, Fans Live The Dream
The soles of my cleats are pressed upon the evergreen mattress that is the outfield, this heavenly anti-stress, as I am living the dream of so many St. Louisans — at Busch Stadium, playing baseball, patrolling the former workspace of “Jimmy Baseball.”

Tim Hudson Humming, But Must Contend With Nemesis
Tim Hudson is having the best start to a season of any Giants starter in nearly 30 years, posting a 1.92 ERA through his first 10 starts for his new club, a franchise-best through 10 outings since 1985 (Dave LaPoint, 1.88). But the veteran right-hander hasn't fared well against the team he'll face in the finale of a four-game weekend set at Busch Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Joe Buck: It's Good To Have Family
In the heartland of Cardinal country, his ballcap is the color of Cubbie blue. He stands in line waiting for his coffee surrounded by men and women in business suits. The very recognizable face of Joe Buck, Fox Sports' lead play-by-play broadcaster and son of Hall of Fame broadcaster Jack Buck, blends into the crowd.
