Aaron Herr is returning to the Lancaster Barnstormers.

For the Hempfield grad, who was the co-Most Valuable Player of the Atlantic League in 2010, it will be his third season playing for his hometown team.

Five Former Cardinals Named To 2010 Atlantic League All-Star Team

The Atlantic League today announced rosters for the 13th Annual All-Star Game to be played on Tuesday, July 6 at Suffolk County Sports Park, home of the Long Island Ducks. The division-leading Southern Maryland Blue Crabs and York Revolution squads led with seven selections apiece. Players were chosen by fan, media, league official and coaching staff voting.

An original member of the Lancaster Barnstormers has returned.

Infielder Aaron Herr, son of bench coach and former manager Tom Herr, signed a contract for the 2009 season, it was announced today.
