Dodgers To Activate Blake Hawksworth
Juan Uribe is supposed to be activated from the 15-day disabled list Monday for the Dodgers' opening game of a three-game series in Philadelphia. So are Marcus Thames and Blake Hawksworth.

With right-hander Blake Hawksworth taking longer than expected to recover from a strained right groin, manager Don Mattingly said the Dodgers are looking at making a move to add a healthy arm to their bullpen.

Bats Come Alive In The Desert; Slumping Yadier Molina; Of Note...
The Cardinals scored 15 runs in the first five innings Wednesday as they cruised to a 15-5 win over Arizona in the series finale. After getting off to a historically slow start offensively the first week of the season, the bats have officially woken up for the Cardinals.

Prospectus Hit & Run: NL Bullpen Blowout
Twice during the first four days of the season, ESPN televised matchups between the defending world champion Giants and the Dodgers at Dodger Stadium. Opening night featured a taut pitchers' duel in which Clayton Kershaw got the upper hand on Tim Lincecum, while on Sunday night, the Dodgers outlasted the Giants thanks largely to Aubrey Huff's sloppy outfield play.
