Joe Presko Passed Away On February 5, 2019

Former Cardinals and Tigers pitcher Joe Presko passed away on February 5 at age 90. Nicknamed “Baby Joe,” Presko had a fairly nondescript career, going 25-37 with a 4.61 ERA over parts of six seasons.

Brewers @ Cardinals Postponed For Wednesday & Thursday's Start Time Pushed Back

The St. Louis Cardinals announced that their game against the Milwaukee Brewers scheduled for 7:15 p.m. tonight has been postponed due to weather. A make-up date will be announced at a later time.

Series Preview: Brewers @ Cardinals May 1-4, 2017

After splitting their rain-shortened series with the Cincinnati Reds, the Cardinals will begin a four-game set at home against the Milwaukee Brewers on Monday night. The Cardinals have managed to bounce back from their 3-9 start, having gone 9-3 in their succeeding 12 games to return to .500. The Cardinals and Brewers are virtually tied for second place as both are at .500, but the Brewers have played two extra games.

Homestand Highlights: Tuesday, April 25 - Thursday, May 4, 2017

After taking three of four games from the Brew Crew in Milwaukee, the Redbirds return to Busch Stadium for the first of two 10-game homestands in 2017-their longest of the season. The homestand kicks off with a three-game interleague matchup with the Toronto Blue Jays (April 25-27), continues with three games against the Cincinnati Reds (April 28-30) and concludes with a four-game series versus the Milwaukee Brewers (May 1-4). The homestand is highlighted by annual Green Week festivities, the 2017 Cardinals Hall of Fame Induction Class announcement, Photo Day and a Carlos Martínez and Matt Carpenter double bobblehead.

Cardinals Announce New Firefighters Appreciation Theme Night

Today the St. Louis Cardinals announced the addition of Firefighter Appreciation Night to the 2017 Theme Ticket schedule. The Cardinals will partner with The Hartford and the company's Junior Fire Marshal program to celebrate our brave men and women in uniform when the Redbirds take on the Milwaukee Brewers on Wednesday, May 3 at 7:15 p.m.
