Edgar Renteria, Arthur Rhodes Miss Hall Of Fame Election, Fall From Ballot

Orlando Cabrera, Mike Cameron, Edgar Renteria and Arthur Rhodes were on the ballot for the first time, but all failed to garner the minimum 5 percent of the vote from the Baseball Writers' Association of America required to return to the ballot next year.

The 2017 Baseball Hall Of Fame Voting Results

Baseball's Hall of Fame opened its door to three new members on Wednesday, with Jeff Bagwell, Tim Raines and Ivan Rodriguez earning induction by getting at least 75 percent of the vote from the Baseball Writers' Association of America.

But, no matter how many times his name shows up on the ballot, the odds of him ever being enshrined like Ken Griffey Jr. was this past season are quite small.
