Ryan Sherriff, Corey Baker, Tyler Herron, Ty Kelly, Charles Cutler, & Jason Marquis Listed On Israel World Baseball Classic Roster

The MLB affiliated players for the World Baseball Classic Qualifier in Brooklyn, New York (September 22-25) have been revealed through MLB.com. Since the MLB season is still ongoing at the end of September obviously no active Major Leaguers will be on the rosters.

Charlie Cutler Named 2016 Atlantic League All-Star

The Atlantic League of Professional Baseball today announced the rosters for the 2016 Atlantic League All-Star Game. Representatives from the Liberty and Freedom Divisions will square off in the league’s 19th annual midsummer classic on Wednesday, July 13 at Clipper Magazine Stadium in Lancaster, Pa., with first pitch scheduled for 7:00 p.m.

Charlie Cutler Happy To Be Part Of Cubs' Plans

A year ago, catcher Charlie Cutler didn’t expect to be with the Tennessee Smokies. He didn’t even expect to be in the Chicago Cubs’ organization. But for a guy who had already been picked once in the Major League Baseball Rule 5 draft, it didn’t come as a big shock that he began this season playing for the third organization in his seven-year career.
