Double-A Springfield activated Tyler Rahmatulla from the disabled list.
St. Louis activated Tony Cruz from the disabled list and recalled Adron Chambers from Triple-A Memphis.
St. Louis sent Mike Blazek, who was assigned to Triple-A Memphis, to Milwaukee to complete John Axford trade.
