It was a slow start for both teams as the Redbirds took on the Albuquerque Isotopes in the final game of the four-game series but came up short for the second night in a row losing it in the last inning by one to split the series with the 'Topes in a 3-2 loss.
It was another make-do Friday for the Memphis Redbirds, courtesy of their parent club in St. Louis. And for the second night in a row they almost made it. But not quite.
