Luther Hackman Back With Uniform 7-Eleven Lions

Luther Hackman has returned for a third stint with the Lions. First signed in 2008, he has gone 8-2 with an ERA of around three in the last two regular seasons. It has been in the post season however, where the American has really excelled. His record of 5-1 coupled with an ERA of 2.30 (in 43 and a third innings) was enough to earn MVP honors in both the 2008 and 2009 Taiwan Series.

Hugo Castellanos, Luther Hackman Pitching In The Triple-A Mexican League

Hugo Castellanos is pitching for Sultanes de Monterrey. He was in the Cardinals organization from 2007-08, launching for both Double-A Springfield and Triple-A Memphis. Castellanos has already made three relief appearances, allowing one hit, one earned run, two walks, and striking out two over three innings.

Luther Hackman landed with Olmecas de Tabasco. He pitched in the Cardinals organization from 2000-02, even spending the entire 2002 season in the majors with the club. He last pitched for both the Milwaukee Brewers and Texas Rangers organizations in 2007 before failing a mandatory MLB drug test. Hackman has made two relief appearances, giving up seven hits, four earned runs, two walks, and striking out two over two innings.
