Although it hasn’t been business as usual at Dozer Park, the Chiefs’ media department has remained busy. We’ve spent the majority of this offseason digging into the archives and really embracing our rich history.

April 7 In Peoria History
The highlight for April 7 comes from Opening Day 2017. Just three years ago that Opening Day lineup for Chris Swauger (his first game as Chiefs manager) has already produced three Major Leaguers with a handful of other players in Double-A or Triple-A and on the verge of MLB debuts. Tommy Edman led off the game for the Chiefs and with one out, 18-year old Dylan Carlson launched his first home run of the season for a 1–0 lead. Two batters later, Andrew Knizner collected his first hit of the season and Brian O’Keefe singled as well but the Chiefs didn’t add on.
