Quad Cities River Bandits Scholar Amanda Stahle Enjoys Academic Success

Last May, Amanda Stahle, a Bettendorf High School senior, became the first recipient of the highly competitive Keith Lucier Memorial Scholarship and in so doing had the River Bandits pay for her entire first-year tuition at the University of Iowa. Stahle, a student in the Henry B. Tippie College of Business, enters the final semester of her freshman year with a 3.69 GPA and a spot on the university's prestigious Dean's List. In addition to her impressive academic results, Stahle also throws discus on the Hawkeye track and field team.
