Palm Beach Manages Just Three Hits In 7-0 Loss
The Palm Beach Cardinals (13-11, 42-51) were out-hit 11-3 and managed just five baserunners all night in a 7-0 shutout loss to the Brevard County Manatees (9-12, 36-55) Sunday evening in game one of a four-game series at Roger Dean Stadium.

Carlos Martinez struck out seven in his Class-A Advanced debut and Niko Vasquez drove in five with two homers to lead the Palm Beach Cardinals (6-2, 35-42) to a 9-3 victory over the Bradenton Marauders (6-2, 36-42) Thursday night at McKechnie Field.

Palm Beach Sweeps Doubleheader With 4-3 Victory
The Palm Beach Cardinals (4-1, 33-41) ended up winning both games of a home-home doubleheader after a 4-2 victory over the Jupiter Hammerheads (0-4, 32-42) in game two Monday night at Roger Dean Stadium. The Cardinals also took game one, as the home team, by a final of 5-1.

Following are the highlights from the 17th day of St. Louis Cardinals minor league games in spring 2011, on Saturday, April 2.
The Cardinals minor leaguers had their oddest split day of the spring. Memphis and Springfield played their Florida Marlins counterparts while Palm Beach and Quad Cities #1 took on the New York Mets A-ball squads. In addition, Quad Cities #2 stepped up in competition and opposed the Marlins A-Advanced team.
