Tyler Bighames Suspended 50 Games For "Drug Of Abuse"
Center fielder Tyler Bighames, a minor-leaguer with the St. Louis Cardinals Gulf Coast League affiliate, was suspended 50 games for a second positive test, Major League Baseball announced Monday. The release from the MLB offices said Bighames tested positive for a “drug of abuse” each time.

Jefferson Segundo Suspended 50-Games
Segundo was suspended after testing positive for metabolites of Stanozolol. The 20-year-old right-hander was 2-0 with one save and an 8.04 ERA in 12 games, including one start, in the Rookie-level Dominican Summer League.

Dominican Summer League Cardinals Report 6-8-09

The Dominican Summer League Cardinals picked up where they left off in the 2008 season. The team did open their season with a win but will be carrying a three-game losing streak into the next period. The Cardinals are 2-5, four games out of first place, and sharing third place in the Santo Domingo North Division with the Phillies. They are 1-2 at home and 1-3 on the road.
