Tyler Bighames Suspended 50 Games For "Drug Of Abuse"

Center fielder Tyler Bighames, a minor-leaguer with the St. Louis Cardinals Gulf Coast League affiliate, was suspended 50 games for a second positive test, Major League Baseball announced Monday. The release from the MLB offices said Bighames tested positive for a “drug of abuse” each time.

Dominican Summer League Cardinals Report 6-8-09

The Dominican Summer League Cardinals picked up where they left off in the 2008 season. The team did open their season with a win but will be carrying a three-game losing streak into the next period.
