The St. Louis Cardinals, Anheuser-Busch, FOX Sports Midwest and the American Red Cross have teamed up to host a blood drive at Busch Stadium on Tuesday, April 21. The American Red Cross has an ongoing critical need for blood and platelet donations. Donors of all blood types, especially type O, are urged to give now and help ensure blood products are available for patients this spring. Fans can register to donate at cardinals.com/blooddrive.

Robinson Cano Exits After Ball Hits Wrist; X-Rays Negative
Mets second baseman Robinson Canó was involved in a controversial play in the seventh inning of Sunday’s 6-4 loss to the Cardinals at Busch Stadium that resulted in manager Mickey Callaway's third career ejection, as well as Cano leaving the game with a right wrist injury.

The precautionary reasons that led to Matt Carpenter's exit from Saturday’s 10-2 win over the Mets seemed to do the trick, as the third baseman stayed in his usual leadoff spot for Sunday’s series finale. Carpenter went 0-for-4 with a pair of strikeouts in the Cardinals' 6-4 win.

Dexter Fowler Kindly Helps Noah Syndergaard Get His First Home Run Of The Season
Mets pitcher, and hand, foot and mouth disease survivor, Noah Syndergaard was up 2-1 in the count against Dakota Hudson in the top of the fourth. On the following pitch, Syndergaard swung and sent the ball deep to center field. Cardinals outfielder Dexter Fowler began tracking the ball back towards the wall, and tried to make a leaping catch once he thought he figured out the ball’s trajectory. But while opening his glove to make the out, he instead created a platform for the ball to bounce off of and land over the wall for the pitcher’s first home run of the season.
