Nick Greenwood and Keith Butler were sent from Triple-A Memphis to Double-A Springfield.

Cardinals Minor League Spring Training Notebook 3-21-13
On Thursday, the St. Louis Cardinals’ two upper level minor league clubs traveled to Port St. Lucie to take on their New York Mets counterparts. (If you looked closely during the Cardinals-Mets telecast, you could see them playing on the fields beyond the wall in left.) Palm Beach and Peoria welcomed New York’s two Class-A clubs to the back fields in Jupiter.
Big scores at the top and bottom of the games tonight along with a bevy of home runs. Ryan Jackson makes some noise and Chris Corrigan leads Springfield's shutout.

Minor-League Camp Begins Games; Adam Reifer Released
While the major-league camp this week hits the stretch drive toward opening day, the minor-league camp begins its games with an eye on early-April opening days. The Cardinals' minor-leaguers held a scrimmage on Wednesday before beginning exhibition games today against the Marlins' minor-league affiliates.
Following are the highlights from the first minor league games of 2013. A trio of intrasquad games were held on Wednesday in preparation for Thursday’s initial contests against external competition.
