Ty Wigginton Replaces David Freese In Lineup
Ty Wigginton was a late addition to the Cardinals’ lineup for tonight’s game with the San Diego Padres. Wiggington will play third base in place of David Freese, who still has some inflammation at the base of his right thumb where he took a couple of stitches after catching the cleat of Milwaukee runner Norichika Aoki in a rundown play on Sunday.
