Omaha Blanks Punchless Memphis
The Omaha Storm Chasers shut out the Memphis Redbirds 2-0 on a chilly Tuesday night at Werner Park, winning their fourth home game in five tries to pull within a game of .500. Lefthander Everett Teaford and righty Jesse Chavez combined on the four-hit shutout, the first of the year for the Omaha pitching staff.
