Round Two: Does Nick Punto Really Offer More Than What Brendan Ryan Would Have?
QUESTION: Many see the Cardinals’ signing last week of Nick Punto as somewhat uninspiring. Sure, he can provide defensive insurance in the infield, but couldn’t Brendan Ryan have done the same, perhaps even better? Was Ryan’s personality really that disruptive to this team?
