Nick Punto & Sam Gaviglio Expected In Italy's World Baseball Classic Training Camp

From Saturday, February 25 the Italian National Team will open training camp for the 2017 World Baseball Classic in Mesa, Arizona. 24 players will be on hand for manager Marco Mazzieri with the big leaguers joining next week. Mazzieri will be assisted in Mesa by Salvatore Butera, Frank Catalanotto, Salvatore Fasano, Gilberto Gerali, Nick Punto, Brian Sweeney, Auguste Medina and Dennis Cook.
