Troy Glaus hit 27 homers and drove in 99 runs last season as the Cardinals’ third baseman. He is back with the club now after his minor league rehabilitation program has ended but manager Tony La Russa said tonight that Glaus, who had off-season right shoulder surgery, shouldn’t expect too much playing time.
