Matt Adams had not even realized the ball went into the third deck. Oliver Perez Is Back & He's Better Than Ever

For the majority of the 2018 season, the AL Central leading Cleveland Indians have had one glaring weakness on their squad: the bullpen. They did what they needed to do, grabbing a pair of controllable relievers in Brad Hand and Adam Cimber at the cost of standout prospect Francisco Mejia. Hand has been his usual good self, while Cimber has somewhat struggled, but these were much needed pieces.

Marco Gonzales Piles Up K's, But Bats Limited In Loss

The Mariners turned an unusual triple play and got a season-high eight strikeouts in a short start from Marco Gonzales on Thursday, but Seattle's offense was quiet for a fifth straight game as the Astros rolled to a 9-2 victory at Safeco Field.

Tony Sipp Secures Final Spot In Astros' Bullpen

The Astros' bullpen is pretty much set heading into next week's season opener. A left oblique injury to right-hander James Hoyt will prevent him from returning to Houston when the club breaks camp on Sunday, which means veteran left-hander Tony Sipp has secured the final spot in the 'pen.

Tony Sipp's Struggles May Cost Him Astros Roster Spot

It was expected for much of Spring Training that left-hander Tony Sipp would earn the final spot in manager A.J. Hinch's bullpen. Granted, if he does make the Astros' Opening Day roster, he would be the lone southpaw reliever.

Tony Sipp Will Be Key Piece As Astros Shape Bullpen
