A Sid Bream Move
Allen Craig and Matt Adams are both performing well for St. Louis. Adams is four years younger, but Craig is still in his prime at age 28. Might the Cardinals be willing to let either go for some middle infield help and some relief pitching? With Anthony Rendon maturing into an everyday player, Steve Lombardozzi and Danny Espinosa are expendable. The Nationals might be able to help the Cardinals bullpen as well. It seems to me there might be a deal there that helps both teams win divisions.
