Triple-A: Fresno Beat Memphis 12-7:

Connor Jones (Springfield-Memphis) pitched one inning, allowing no hits or runs, and one walk.
Scott Hurst (Palm Beach-Memphis) manned centerfield and went 2-for-2 with one home run, two RBIs, and one run.
Chase Pinder (Springfield-Memphis) was designated hitter and went 2-for-4 with one double and one run.

Baseball Reunites Sam Tewes, Two Brothers In Springfield

Sam Tewes was a sophomore in high school when his brother Luke left their family’s home in Lincoln, Neb., headed for college. Tewes graduated in 2013 and moved on to Wichita State, when his brother Thomas was a high school freshman.
