Michael Schulze Sits With Injury

The Chiefs resorted to using outfielder Luis Perez at second base, as starter Mike Schulze missed the game with an injury. High-A Palm Beach was already eliminated from its playoff race, but the Cardinals did not send either called-up infielders Cesar Valera or Juan Herrera back to Peoria to help.
