The Appalachian League President Lee Landers today announced the recipients of the league's annual awards, voted on by the general managers of each club in the Advanced Rookie league. The Johnson City Cardinals were selected for three awards including the Organization of the Year, Executive of the Year, and the Promotional Trophy.

Johnson City Announces Hiring Of Matt Davis To Front Office
Boyd Sports, LLC is excited to announce the hiring of Matt Davis as the new Broadcaster with the Johnson City Cardinals. Matt will replace Justin Rocke, who accepted a position with the Greeneville Reds as their Broadcaster.

Justin Rocke Hired As Director Of Broadcasting For Johnson City
The Johnson City Cardinals announced on Wednesday that they have hired Justin Rocke as the team's Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations for the upcoming 2017 season. The 25-year-old will serve as the Cardinals' play-by-play voice for all 70 games during the season, as well as being in charge of all media relations responsibilities for the Appalachian League club.
