Cardinals Minor League Spring Training Notebook 3-22-19: Anthony Shew Strikes Out Three Over Three Scoreless Innings; Elehuris Montero Hits A Solo Home Run; Bryan Dobzanski Strikes Out Four Over Two Scoreless Innings



Triple-A: Memphis & Fresno Tied 1-1:

Mike Hauschild (Buffalo-Memphis) pitched three innings and allowed two hits, one earned run, two walks, and struck four out.
Anthony Shew (Springfield-Memphis) pitched three innings and allowed no hits or runs, two walks, and struck three out.
Elehuris Montero (Palm Beach-Memphis) covered third base and went 1-for-3 with one home run, one RBI, one run, and one strikeout.
Conner Capel (Palm Beach-Memphis) manned left field and went 2-for-3 at the plate.


Double-A: Springfield & Harrisburg Tied 3-3:

Bryan Dobzanski (Palm Beach-Springfield) pitched two innings and allowed one hit, no runs, and struck four out.
Stefan Trosclair (Palm Beach-Springfield) covered secon base and went 1-for-1 with one home run, one RBI, and one run.
Chase Pinder (Springfield-Springfield) manned left field and went 2-for-4 at the plate.


A-Advanced: Potomac Beat Palm Beach 7-2:

Jhon Torres (Gulf Coast League-Palm Beach) was designated hitter and went 2-for-4 with one home run, one RBI, one run, and one strikeout.
Andrew Warner (Johnson City-Palm Beach) manned right field and went 1-for-2 with one double.


Single-A: Peoria Beat Hagerstown 4-2:

Freddy Pacheco (Gulf Coast League-Peoria) pitched two innings and allowed no hits, one earned run, and struck one out.
Chris Hunt (Johnson City-Peoria) pitched two innings and allowed no hits, one earned run, one walk, and struck three out.
Diomedes Del Rio (Gulf Coast League-Peoria) manned left field and went 2-for-3 with one RBI and one run.
