Quintana Roo Releases Dan Serafini

After the poor performance that had before Rieleros of Aguascalientes in the first game of the series with 9-7 defeat, Quintana Roo Tigers announced the departure of Italian origin pitcher Dan Serafini, who scored a cattle mark and three losses, so which will be built in its place the Cuban Hassan Pena.

Former Memphis Redbirds In The World Baseball Classic

The official World Baseball Classic rosters have been officially announced, and the Memphis Redbirds are well represented. Eight former Redbirds players will participate in the Classic, two as coaches and six as players. The United States and Italy both have two former Redbirds on their roster, while Canada, China, Mexico, and Puerto Rico will also have Memphis ties.
