The acquisition of Jordan Schafer this offseason has proven to be quite interesting. Originally drafted as an outfielder, the veteran of six major league seasons has converted to pitching. But that’s not entirely why he was signed as the Cardinals are going to look at him to be a hybrid OF/Pitcher.
