In a perfect world, gay athletes would be accepted naturally in locker rooms and clubhouses across the world. It just wouldn't matter. A man or woman's sexual orientation has nothing to do with their work on a playing field, so the transition from field to behind the scenes would be seamless. Right? Since the world is far from perfect, the answer is no.
