The St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Jon Jay led the Major League this past season in being hit by a pitch 20 times. Teammate Matt Holliday was third with being plunked 17 times–one of those coming from Clayton Kershaw after the Los Angeles Dodgers took exception to Hanley Ramirez being hit by Carlos Martinez.
