When prepping to write the special-section advance for today's Game 1 of the National League division series and the overall series, I did the usual diligence of digging up a tale of the tape. There's not much to it. Just a list of the two teams overall stats and how, say, the Dodgers' team batting average compared to the Cardinals', how the Cardinals' bullpen ERA compared to the Dodgers' and so on.
