The Red Sox have nine players on their roster with World Series experience. Four of them, Jacoby Ellsbury, Game 1 starter Jon Lester, David Ortiz and Dustin Pedroia, were on the Red Sox last World Series champions, in 2007. Ortiz is the only player still with the Red Sox from the 2004 championship team.
