The Cardinals are 26-27 since April 30. They are a half-game out of first place, but that has more to do with the miracle of giving in the NL Central. At some point you have to wonder if what we're seeing here is an extensive stretch of mediocre play, or a St. Louis team that isn't as good as we thought.
