Rich Racobaldo Has Impressed Cardinals

It didn't take too long for Rich Racobaldo to impress the St. Louis Cardinals organization.

Taken in the 37th round of June's amateur draft out of Mount Olive (N.C.) College, the 2004 Camden Catholic High School product tore up the Appalachian League (Rookie) for the Johnson City Cardinals. After batting .415 (51-for-123) with 11 doubles, four home runs and 26 RBIs in 34 games, he was promoted to the Quad Cities River Bandits (Midwest League, Class A) Monday.
