Andrew Knizner 3-for-5 with one two-out RBI, one run, and one passed ball.
Joshua Lopez 1-for-4 with one two-out RBI, two runs, one walk, and one strikeout.

Braves Hire Ted Simmons As MLB Scout

As Ted Simmons neared the conclusion of his long career as a Major Leaguer, he spent some time with the Braves as they were undergoing the late 1980s reconstruction process. Simmons has now been welcomed back to Atlanta's organization to aid president of baseball operations John Hart and general manager John Coppolella as they continue to build for the future.

Twenty Years Later, Players Recall "Replacement" Spring Training

The names that filled the box score of the Cardinals’ first spring training game in 1995 have long since faded from memory. On March 4, 1995, the Cardinals began the spring by beating the Cleveland Indians 4-2 at Al Lang Stadium in St. Petersburg, Fla., with Mike Hinkle as the starting pitcher and Doug Radziewicz driving in the winning run as a pinch-hitter in the eighth inning.

Fernando Salas Joined Six Others Here & Gone Cardinals #59's

Like a number of short-timers before him, St. Louis Cardinals reliever Fernando Salas wore number 59 for his one-game MLB introduction before returning to Triple-A.
