Former Cardinals Playing In Puerto Rican Double-A League 3-1-2020: Tyler Herron Strikes Out Four Over Seven Scoreless Innings For The Win; Juan Diaz Collects Five Singles & Three RBIs In Doubleheader; Daniel Barbuena Strikes Out Six & Allows One Run Over Eight Innings For The Win



Tyler Herron (former Springfield-Yauco) started and pitched seven innings.  He allowed four hits, no runs, two walks, and struck four out for the winning decision.

Yauco beat Cabo Rojo 2-0 in game two of doubleheader

Javier Machuca (former GCL-Lajas) started and pitched two innings.  He allowed three hits, three earned runs, and three walks.

Lajas beat Sabana Grande 12-3 in game one of doubleheader

Juan Caballero (former Johnson City-Lajas) started and pitched six innings.  He allowed four hits, three runs (two earned), two walks, and struck five out for the losing decision.

Sabana Grande beat Lajas 4-1 in game two of doubleheader

Christian Rosa (former Batavia-Loiza) 1-for-4 with one strikeout.

Las Piedras beat Loiza 11-0 in game one of doubleheader

Luis Mateo (former Memphis-Fajardo) 2-for-4 with one run and one walk.

Fajardo beat Rio Grande 6-2 in game one of doubleheader

Luis Mateo (former Memphis-Fajardo) 3-for-4 with one RBI and one run.

Fajardo beat Rio Grande 9-3 in game two of doubleheader

Daniel Barbuena (former GCL-Barceloneta) started and pitched eight innings.  He allowed two hits, one unearned run, five walks, and struck six out for the winning decision.

Barceloneta beat Hatillo 2-1 in game two of doubleheader

Ivan Maldonado (former MiLB tryout-Comerio) started and pitched 2.1 innings.  He allowed three hits, five earned runs, and three walks for the losing decision.

Juan Diaz (former Palm Beach-Cidra) 2-for-3 with two RBIs.

Cidra beat Comerio 7-0 in game one of doubleheader

Juan Diaz (former Palm Beach-Cidra) 3-for-4 with one RBI and one run.

Cidra beat Comerio 13-2 in game two of doubleheader
