Now that Zack Greinke or Robbie Ray or Mike Minor or Noah Syndergaard or any other outside source is not going to be in the Cardinals’ rotation for the last two months of the season, manager Mike Shildt is proceeding with business as usual. After president of baseball operations John Mozeliak had said the other day that Michael Wacha, 6-4 with a 5.15 earned run average in 19 games (14 starts), would get a third chance to be in the rotation, Shildt said that day will come on Monday in Los Angeles against the Dodgers.
