Kyle Barraclough, RHP, Marlins — The Red Sox did make an inquiry on him at the trade deadline, but wisely backed off. He’s allowed 11 earned runs in his last 4⅓ innings and has blown three of his last four save chances, including a ninth-inning meltdown on Thursday. Barraclough has been throwing an inordinate amount of breaking balls, which is giving rise to speculation about fatigue or an injury.
