Although the 2017 Winter Meetings are still a week away, it sounds as though the Miami Marlins are very close to trading franchise player Giancarlo Stanton. The Marlins have reportedly agreed to trade packages with both the San Francisco Giants and St. Louis Cardinals. Now the ball is in Stanton's court. He has a full no-trade clause and can choose his destination.
