On Saturday, right-hander Adam Wainwright took another step forward toward his return from the right elbow injury that landed him on the disabled list on Aug. 18.

There are still a couple of more steps before he’s fully ready to return, but Adam Wainwright took a significant step forward this afternoon in his rehab from a right elbow impingement.
