Triple-A: New Orleans (Miami) Beat Memphis 3-1:

Bruce Caldwell (Springfield) covered third base and went 1-for-2 with two walks.
Todd Cunningham (Salt Lake City) manned left field and went 2-for-3 with one walk.
Daniel Poncedeleon (Springfield) pitched four innings and allowed three hits, one earned run, two walks, and struck four out.


Double-A: Springfield Beat Jacksonville (Miami) 4-2:

Mason Katz (Springfield) covered third base and went 1-for-1 with one home run, two RBIs, and one run.
Thomas Spitz (Palm Beach) manned left field and went 1-for-2 with one triple, one RBI, one run, and one walk.
Zac Gallen (Gulf Coast League) pitched three innings and allowed one hit, no runs, three walks, and struck four out.


A-Advanced: Jupiter (Miami) Beat Palm Beach 5-3:

Edmundo Sosa (Palm Beach) covered shortstop and went 3-for-5 with one RBI and one run.
Nick Plummer (Johnson City) 2-for-3 with one RBI and one run.
Junior Fernandez (Palm Beach) pitched 3.1 innings and allowed three hits, no runs, one walk, and struck three out.


Single-A: Greensboro (Miami) Beat Peoria One 1-0:

Jordan Hicks (State College) pitched four innings and allowed one hit, no runs, one walk, and struck six out.  (Keith Law reports Hicks was hitting between 94-97 with fastball)


Rookie Level: Gulf Coast League (Miami) Beat Peoria Two 10-5:

Jonatan Machado (Dominican Summer League) manned centerfield and went 2-for-3 with one run.
Anthony Ciavarella (Gulf Coast League) pitched 1.2 innings and allowed no hits or runs, and struck three out.
