Cardinals Placed Tyler Lyons on The 15-Day Disabled List, Retroactive To July 31, 2016; Recalled Dean Kiekhefer From Triple-A Memphis

On a day when the Cardinals made six pregame roster moves, they added a seventh to the daily docket when it was announced after a 7-5 loss to the Reds that lefty Tyler Lyons was placed on the 15-day disabled list. The move is retroactive to Saturday.

The St. Louis Cardinals announced today that they have placed left-handed pitcher Tyler Lyons (right knee stress reaction) on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to July 31, and recalled left-handed pitcher Dean Kiekhefer from Memphis (AAA).
