Former Cardinals Playing In The Mexican League 5-20-16: Eliezer Alfonzo Singles, Doubles Twice, Walks, & Drives In Three Runs; Daric Barton Walks & Hits A Solo Home Run; Luis Garcia Walks Three Times



Eliezer Alfonzo (former Peoria-Mexico) started at first base and batted fifth.  3-for-5 with two doubles, three RBIs (two w/two-outs), two runs, one walk, one strikeout, and assisted in one double play.

Mexico beat Saltillo 17-4

Niko Vasquez (former Springfield-Laguna) started at shortstop and batted eighth.  1-for-4 with three strikeouts and assisted in two double plays.

Laguna beat Mexico 3-2 in 11 innings

Daric Barton (former Peoria-Puebla) started at first base and batted fifth.  2-for-3 with one home run, one RBI, three runs, and one walk.

Ivan Bellazetin (former MiLB tryout-Tabasco) started at second base and batted ninth.  1-for-3 with one walk and assisted in one double play.

Puebla beat Tabasco 7-6

Iker Franco (former Springfield-Quintana Roo) started at catcher and batted eighth.  1-for-3 with one run, one strikeout, and threw out one base runner.

Quintana Roo beat Campeche 4-1
