Former Cardinals Draft Selections Playing In College 4-8-16: Gio Brusa Singles, Walks, & Hits A Solo Home Run; A.J. Kruzel Singles, Doubles, & Drives In One Run; Mitchell Traver Nearing Return



Justin Bellinger (former 2014 selection-Duke) started at first base and batted fifth.  1-for-3 with one run, one walk, and one strikeout.

Gio Brusa (former 2015 draft selection-Pacific) started as designated hitter and batted third.  2-for-3 with one home run, one RBI, one run, and one walk.

St. Mary's beat Pacific 14-2

Joe Gillette (former 2014 draft selection-Oregon St) started in left field and batted seventh.  0-for-3 at the plate.
Cadyn Grenier (former 2015 draft selection-Oregon St) started at third base and batted ninth.  0-for-4 with one strikeout and committed one error.

Oregon St beat C.Arkansas 6-2

Tristan Hildebrandt (former 201 draft selection-Cal St Fullerton) started at second base and batted ninth.  1-for-3 with one sacrifice and one caught stealing.

Cal St Fullerton beat Cal Poly 2-1

Parker Kelly (former 2015 draft selection-Oregon) entered in the seventh and pitched three innings.  He allowed four hits, one earned run, one walk, and struck four out.
