Cardinals center fielder Randal Grichuk had a battery of exams Monday morning to determine the severity of a groin injury that forced him from Sunday's game.

Randal Grichuk was not in the lineup Monday, having been pulled from Sunday’s game against the Braves after feeling tightness in his right groin. Afterward, Mike Matheny said the move was precautionary and had no expectation of bad news.

Though Randal Grichuk was out of the Cardinals' lineup on Monday, the club does not anticipate the outfielder missing much time due to a right groin injury that knocked him out of Sunday's game.
