Mark Reynolds, who took a fastball off the side of the bottom of his left hand on Saturday, had that hand wrapped much of the morning on Sunday. Manager Mike Matheny described his first baseman as "a little sore," which led Matheny to insert Stephen Piscotty into the lineup for his first-base debut.
