Though manager Mike Matheny did not disclose prior to the Cardinals' series opener against the Twins on Monday, a 3-2 win, that closer Trevor Rosenthal would be unavailable, the sight of Kevin Siegrist and Seth Maness warming up as the Cardinals batted in the eighth immediately indicated that something was amiss.
