In their second trade in two days, the Cardinals sent pitcher Joe Kelly and outfielder Allen Craig to the Red Sox on Thursday in exchange for pitcher John Lackey and minor-league pitcher Corey Littrell. On Wednesday, the Cardinals acquired starting pitcher Justin Masterson from the Cleveland Indians with Double A outfielder and former first-round pick James Ramsey going to the Indians organization.
